Dynamic planar speaker

This design relied on magnets that were readily available and elements that could be prototyped in house with existing equipment.
Other designs are possible that may be less expensive to manufacture. Testing sound quality in a headphone was the major objective.
This speaker had crisp high frequency response, There was no loss of low end frequencies due to the application of use in a headphone.
There was extremely low distortion giving a transparent sound quality. Other speaker types usually have distortion due to physics of the assemblies.
Planar speakers, well known in audiophile arenas, have inherent sound quality surpassing all other speaker types.
